East Hampton Village Beaches:

Non-Resident Parking Permits:
  • Validity Period: Permits are required from May 15, 2025, to September 15, 2025.
  • Purchase Details: Permits become available for purchase online in early February. Only 3,100 non-resident full-season permits are available. These permits are issued to one person and vehicle only and are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Monthly Non-Resident Beach Parking Permits: Only 500 non-resident monthly permits are available for sale per month. These permits are digital only and linked to your license plate number. They are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Daily Beach Parking: From May 15 to September 15, daily non-resident beach parking permits for Main Beach Lot 2 (Zone 59204) and Two Mile Hollow Beach (Zone 59205) are available for $50/day through the ParkMobile App.
Beaches Requiring Valid Parking Permits:

A valid East Hampton Village Beach Parking Permit is required for the following Village beaches:

  • Georgica Beach
  • Main Beach
  • Wiborg Beach
  • Egypt Beach
  • Two Mile Hollow Beach
Lifeguard Services:
  • On-Duty Hours: Lifeguards are on duty from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on days when protected beaches are open.
  • Protected Beaches: The three lifeguard-protected beaches, each equipped with bathrooms, are:
    • Georgica Beach
    • Main Beach
    • Two Mile Hollow Beach

East Hampton Town Beaches:

Permits are issued by the towns clerks office, they can be obtained at the clerk's office on Pantigo road, the annex at the montauk playhouse, or by mail, all with proper documentation. For further information please call the office at (631) 324-4142.

Specific Beaches: Alewive Brook Landing, Mile Hill, Old House Landingroad, Sammy's Beach:
  • Swimming: Prohibited; no lifeguard on duty.
  • Parking: Requires a Town of East Hampton parking permit.
  • Vehicular Beach Access: A Town of East Hampton Beach drive-on pass is required fordesignated areas.

Amagansett:

  • Swimming: Permitted only when lifeguards are on duty within designated areas. Lifeguards aretypically on duty from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM:

    • Weekends Only: For two weekends following Labor Day.
  • Parking: Requires a Town of East Hampton parking permit. Additionally, daily paid parking isavailable on weekdays for $50 per vehicle; however, this is not available on weekends orholidays.

Barns Hole:
  • Swimming: Prohibited; no lifeguard on duty.

Big Albert's Landing Beach:

Town of Southampton Beaches:

Unless otherwise posted, lifeguards are on duty from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm when beaches are open. Permits are required at all times, from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, at all beach facilities during the beach season.

Town of Southampton Beaches Permit Fees:
  • Southampton Town Resident: $50
  • Vehicle Southampton Town Senior Resident (62+): $40
  • Non-Resident Full Season: $500
  • Village of Sag Harbor: Please refer to specific details for access fees
  • East Hampton Resident (Long Beach Only): $50

For Renters to Use The Village Beach:
  • The property owner must give up ONE (1) beach parking sticker, which comes with FOUR (4) IDcards.
  • The owner must submit a Summer Rental Application to the Village Building Department.
Seasonal Renter Beach Parking Sticker Fees:
  • Car Sticker - $650.00
  • Walk-on Pass - $3.00
  • Seasonal beach parking stickers are available at Rogers Beach on weekends from May 25 thruJune 23 and 7 days a week from June 24, thru September 2 during the hours of 10:00 am to 5:00pm.
