East Hampton Village Beaches:

Beaches that permit non-resident parking permits

Non-Resident Parking Permits:
  • Validity Period: Permits are required from May 15, 2026, to September 15, 2026.
  • Purchase Details: Permits became available for purchase online on February 2, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Each permit costs $750, with an additional 6% credit card fee. Only 3,100 non-resident full season permits are available. These permits are issued to one person and vehicle only and are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Monthly Non-Resident Beach Parking Permits: An online sale is scheduled for Thursday, May 1, 2026, at 9:00 AM. Monthly passes May 15 - June 30: $250, July: $300, Aug-Sep 15: $300. Only 500 non-resident monthly permits are available for sale per month. These permits are digital only and linked to your license plate number. They are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Daily Beach Parking: From May 15 to September 15, daily non-resident beach parking permits for Main Beach Lot 2 (Zone 59204) and Two Mile Hollow Beach (Zone 59205) are available for $50/day through the ParkMobile App.
Beaches Requiring Valid Parking Permits:

A valid East Hampton Village Beach Parking Permit is required for the following Village beaches:

  • Georgica Beach
  • Main Beach
  • Wiborg Beach
  • Egypt Beach
  • Two Mile Hollow Beach
Lifeguard Services:
  • On-Duty Hours: Lifeguards are on duty From 10:00 AM To 5:00 PM on days when protected beaches are open.
  • Protected Beaches: The three lifeguard-protected beaches, each equipped with bathrooms, are:
    • Georgica Beach
    • Main Beach
    • Two Mile Hollow Beach

East Hampton Town Beaches:

Permits are issued by the towns clerks office, they can be obtained at the clerk's office on pantigo road, the annex at the montauk playhouse, or by mail, all with proper documentation. For further information please call the office at (631) 324-4142.

Specific Beaches: Alewive Brook Landing, Mile Hill, Old House Landing Road, Sammy's Beach:
  • Swimming: No lifeguards on duty; swim at your own risk.
  • Parking: Requires a Town of East Hampton parking permit.

  • Swimming: Lifeguards on duty from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM:
    • Weekends: From Memorial Day weekend until mid-June.

    • Weekends Only: For two weekends following Labor Day.
  • Parking: Requires a Town of East Hampton parking permit. Additionally, daily paid parking is available on weekdays for $50 per vehicle; however, this is not available on weekends or holidays.

Barns Hole:

Town of Southampton Beaches:

Unless otherwise posted, lifeguards are on duty from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm when beaches are open. Permits are required at all times, from May 15 - Sept 15, at all beach facilities during the beach season.

Town of Southampton Beaches Permit Fees:
  • Southampton Town Resident: $50
  • Southampton Non-Resident Full Season: $500
  • Village of Sag Harbor: Please refer to specific details for access fees
  • East Hampton Resident (Long Beach Only): $50 early / $60 peak
  • Old Ponquogue Bridge Marine Park: $125 early / $135 peak per vehicle

For Renters to Use The Village Beach:
  • The property owner must give up ONE (1) beach parking sticker, which comes with FOUR (4) ID cards.
  • The owner must submit a Summer Rental Application to the Village Building Department.
  • Fees differ if renting outside the Village
Seasonal Renter Beach Parking Sticker Fees:
  • Car Sticker - $650.00
  • Walk-on Pass - $3.00
  • Seasonal beach parking stickers are available at Rogers Beach on weekends from May 23-June 28, 2026 and daily from June 29-September 7, 2026; 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
