Vacation days at this lovely Amagansett cottage are built from simple moments: A fresh cup of coffee warming your hands as you listen to birdsong along the pond's sandy bank. Stepping under the cool outdoor shower to rinse the sand away after playing on the beach. A favorite meal cooked in the cozy kitchen, then shared in the sun-lit dining room. The warm breeze as you recline on your private hammock—with a view of the bay-fed pond across the street—to watch day turn to evening.

Surrounded by sand dunes and nature preserves, it's hard to believe Bliss Abyss is a mere six-minute drive from Amagansett and only 12 minutes to East Hampton or Montauk. It might as well be an entirely different world. This two-bedroom, one-bathroom home is quaint and cozy, perfect for four people seeking a quiet escape.

Low-maintenance and delightful, Bliss Abyss has two double beds in the bedrooms and a single daybed in the living room. Chances are you’ll spend most of your time outside, where a lovely patio awaits with lounge furniture, a fire pit, a grill, and an outdoor picnic table with seating for eight. Take advantage of the popular kite boarding and windsurfing beach just beyond the backyard on the bay, pop over to the ocean (an easy 2.5-mile drive away), and enjoy a laid-back day shopping or dining at local restaurants in the nearby towns.

Pet Policy: One hypoallergenic, non-shedding dog of 20 lbs or less is permitted. Non hypoallergenic/non-shedding dogs or any dogs over 20 lbs are prohibited unless express approval is provided. All other pets (including multiple dogs) are prohibited unless express approval is provided (please inquire).

Utility Disclaimer:
Normal usage of the following utilities is included in the total reservation amount:
Pool Heating (if applicable), Pool/Hot-Tub Maintenance (if applicable), Heating Oil/Propane/Natural Gas, Electricity, Cable/TV/Internet/Phone, and Garbage Removal

If the cost of utilities exceeds $20.00/night, guest will be responsible for the difference. Cleanings during a guest's stay and pay-per-view orders are not included in the cost of utilities.

Cleaning Disclaimer: All reservations longer than one week must be professionally cleaned once per week, the cost of which is borne by the guest. For clarity purposes, the cost of in-stay cleanings are separate and above the fees collected at the time of booking.

Off-Season Disclaimer: It is typical that spring cleanings and updates do not take place until late April / early May. If your booking falls outside of Memorial Day to Labor Day, please inquire as to whether or not outdoor furniture and equipment will be available for use prior to booking.

Payment/Refund Policy: All payments are non-refundable, unless stated otherwise. If renter must cancel the reservation, Marquis will re-list availability, and in the event Marquis is able to re-book the nights renter originally booked, a refund may be processed. We strongly encourage renter to purchase travelers insurance (which Marquis offers) as a means of payment protection. Please note that all bookings must be paid in full prior to arrival.

    We have been lucky to stay at Marisa‘s place several times over the last few years. Her home is charming, peaceful and beautiful. The sun floods the house and the views of the bay are breathtaking. The bliss abyss is very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The outdoor space is also lovely. It is private and secluded from the road and you are right there in the Amagansett dunes!

    This charming, cozy cottage is perfect for a Hamptons summer vacation. It is across the street from a beautiful nature reserve with a pond for kayaking that leads to the bay. Down the street, a very short walk away, is the windsurfers, kite flyers beach. It is great for small children and fun to watch the windsurfers. There is an adorable side yard which is a great place to hang out day or night. The space is not large, but it is incredibly comfortable, well furnished and clean. I wish I could rent it every year.

    An amazing location, directly in front of a lagoon with egrets flying overhead, a very short walk to the beach, this rental provides the perfect quiet idyll, a restorative retreat. It’s a lovely cabin with a good kitchen, an outdoor shower, privacy, and charm. Lovingly maintained. A great find.
