Is it time to trade “stressful” for “stress-free?” Head for Millstone Retreat, which promises rest and relaxation on ten private acres just ten minutes from the centers of both Southampton and Sag Harbor.

Once you check in, go ahead and spread out: This roomy six-bedroom/four-bathroom house easily sleeps 10 people, making it the perfect rental for multiple families or a group of friends to let loose, laugh and play.

High ceilings and lots of natural light stream through floor-to-ceiling windows, making this large home feel even larger. Make yourself at home in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with tons of counter space and all the pots, pans and utensils you could possibly need. Enjoy a leisurely meal or board game competition in the spacious dining room. Or kick back in the living room for a family movie night.

Bedroom arrangements include one room with a king-sized bed, four bedrooms with queen-sized beds and one bedroom with a bunkbed. The two upstairs rooms come with en-suite baths, and a few even have private balconies.

Outside, let your inner kid run wild. Splash in the heated salt-water pool and relax in the hot tub. Take a swing on the tennis court (which also has basketball hoops) and enjoy a game on the life-size chess board. The fun doesn’t have to end when the sun sets: Fire up the gas grill and savor evening hours on the back deck with just one more glass of wine and a favorite homemade dessert.

Pet Policy: One dog of 25 lbs or less is permitted for an additional $100.00 per booking. Dogs over 25 lbs are prohibited unless express approval is provided. All other pets (including multiple dogs) are prohibited unless express approval is provided (please inquire).

Utility Disclaimer:
Utility fees are included in the total rental amount. The guest shall be responsible for the costs associated with excessive usage of utilities during the term of the reservation. Excessive usage is defined as utility costs over $30.00 per night of the reservation.

Cleaning Disclaimer: One end of stay cleaning is included in the reservation total. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory. In-stay cleanings are the guest's expense.

Pool Disclaimer: The pool will be closed the weekend after Labor Day.
For energy conservation purposes, the pool heater may only be operational from 8am to 6pm.

Hot Tub Disclaimer: The hot tub will be closed the weekend after Labor Day.

Off-Season Disclaimer: It is typical that spring cleanings and updates do not take place until late April / early May. If your booking falls outside of Memorial Day to Labor Day, please inquire as to whether or not outdoor furniture and equipment will be available for use prior to booking.

Payment/Refund Policy: All payments are non-refundable, however, should the guest elect to cancel its reservation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner of the property to reopen the dates of the reservation in attempt to re-book the property (please note the decision to reopen dates is the owners’). Should Marquis be successful in re-booking the property for the original dates at the same or higher price than the original reservation, a refund will be issued to the guest once payment is collected in full for the new reservation. If a new reservation is not made, the guest may use the property for the dates of its original reservation so long as payments have been made in accordance with the payment schedule established at the time of booking and Marquis is notified in writing 72 hours or more prior to the start of the reservation.

Security Deposit Disclaimer: Although rare, accidental damage does happen during a stay. In lieu of a security deposit, guests can rest easy knowing that this property is covered with up to $20,000 of "all risk" damage protection provided by Waivo. Coverage details are provided in the booking agreement.

While StayMarquis manages this listing, the guest experience is managed by the owner of this property, meaning all property preparation, arrival coordination, in-stay communication, and requests for maintenance tasks are performed by the owner. However, StayMarquis will provide you with a "Guest Experience Manager" who can help facilitate any request, from grocery shopping to organizing a private chef.
