Designed and built by famed architect, Andrew Geller, in 1968, the Antler House was fully restored and updated in 2019 and has been featured in Dwell Magazine (Nov/Dec 2019), DesignBoom, Archinect, Curbed, etc.. The home also won an AIA Honor Award for restoration in 2020. The house has never been offered for rent and is a true gem for lovers of midcentury modern architecture and design. You can expect a 'one of a kind' vacation experience in this internationally recognized architectural masterpiece with impeccable interior design including designer finishes and period correct details, with a focus on escapism, bringing guests back to nature and total privacy. The home is like living in your own Wes Anderson movie with it's whimsical, adventurous, even wild spirit. It is one of a handful of Andrew Geller houses that still exist in the Hamptons and one of a few that have been restored to better than new condition. The Antler House is a 3-story, 3-bed, and 2-bath with a large outdoor entertaining deck. An 'upside down' house with two bedrooms on the first floor, a great room and entertaining deck up on the second story and surrounded by a forest canopy, and a private 3rd story loft bedroom up above the tree tops. Just a few blocks from the beach, but nestled in a woodsy forest, the home is the best of both worlds - a modernist beach house and a cozy cabin. Set on a very private 1.1 acre lot on the Amagansett/East Hampton border of Historic Springs it's an easy drive or Uber to all the best hotspots and just down the street from the famous Springs General Store as well as kid-friendly and picturesque Louse Point beach. For unparalleled sleep and leisure, each bed in this property is made with temperature-regulating and luxuriously soft bamboo viscose linens by Cozy Earth.

Special Features
Andrew Geller was one of the premiere midcentury architects remembered most of all for his playful beach houses in the Hamptons. This home, the Antler House, is one of his most published and celebrated homes, including recent articles in Architectural Digest, Dwell, Archinect, etc.. Staying in this home is a once-in-a-lifetime vacation experience. Private and protected by the surrounding oak forest, yet just blocks from Louse Point beach, it is the best of both worlds - a woodsy cabin and a stylish beach house. During summer, the giant oaks create a cocoon for the property, hiding it away from the rest of the world. Set equidistant between Amagansett and East Hampton, the private yet close to town(s) location gives you all the best summer options without having to deal with traffic on Montauk Highway. Even during the peak of summer, Montauk is just a short 15 minute drive through backroads. It's a perfect getaway for couples or families who value midcentury architecture and decor, as well as those who like to entertain on the large outdoor deck with dining, bbq, and stunning treetop views. The property is child safe with two bedrooms on the ground floor and no pool. A full ground up restoration was completed in 2019 including adding all modern conveniences including HVAC, heated bathroom floors, and a full cinematic experience with a 120" movie screen and 4k laser projector.
