IP Addresses and Cookies
Marquis is firmly committed to our customers' privacy. Like many sites, we use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and provide a better web experience. Your IP address is used to help identify you and your registrations and gather general demographic information.
To enhance your experience with the Site, we use “cookies.” Cookies are small packets of data stored on your computer. Cookies are used by your computer’s browser to store your preferences. Cookies, by themselves, do not tell us your e-mail address or other personally identifiable information. We use cookies to understand Site usage and to improve the content and offerings on the Site. You may set your browser to warn you that cookies are in use, or to block the use of cookies. Most browsers are set to accept cookies. If your browser is not set to accept cookies, certain uses of the Site may require you to go to your browser user preferences to enable cookies. Each browser is different, so check the ''Help'' menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences. If you change computers, operating systems or browsers, or use multiple computers or browsers, you will need to repeat this process for each computer and each browser.

Your Personal Information
We collect personally identifiable information on the Site when you attempt to register as a Site User or otherwise choose to provide personally identifiable information to us. Personally identifiable information is any information that can be used to identify or locate a particular person or entity. This may include, but is not limited to: business entity name and/or title with the applicable business entity, as well as your personal and/or business entity related e-mail address, mailing address, daytime and/or cellular telephone numbers and fax number, credit card information and bank account information (including, but not limited to, account number, routing number and bank location), and/or any other information requested on the applicable Site User registration form. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, your bank account information shall be considered “Sensitive Information.”
It is necessary for us to collect credit card and personal information in order to authorize the release of funds from your credit card provider or bank. While we must collect this information to successfully process a credit card transaction, not all of this information is stored on our servers after the completion of your order. We store your email address, an encrypted password that allows you to access your account within the Marquis system, your first and last name, your city, and your state. Marquis does not store your street address, your phone number, or your credit card number, expiration date, or pin. Credit card and street address information is given to us each time you make a transaction in the Marquis system. They are passed to the third party processing company through a secure encrypted gateway for authorization, and are not subsequently saved on the Marquis servers.
We and our third-party service providers may collect personal information contained within your communications with us, including any information provided to us via email, chat functionality, social media, telephone, or otherwise. Where permitted by applicable law, we may collect and maintain records of these calls and chats.
The information we gather from customers enables us to personalize and improve our services, and to allow our users to set up a user profile and engage in other activity via the Site.
When you register or (log in), you supply your name, email address and a password. This allows us to provide you access to your account every time you visit the Site. You can also choose to complete your online profile by providing us with travel preferences. This information is primarily used to assist us in finding the most suitable travel deal for you. With your login and password, you can at any time update or remove supplied information.
We may use your email address to notify you about certain third party offers, other opportunities and provide general updates if you have opted-in. Emails are sent only to Marquis users who have chosen to receive them (opted-in) or who have completed a transaction on the Site. At any time, you can notify us to opt-out from receiving these emails (See “Opt-out” section below). In addition, we keep a record of your transactions.
We may also ask you for information regarding your personal preferences and demographics to help us better meet your needs.
We may also display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our site in addition to other endorsements. With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us using the information below.

Users of our Site are required to be at least 18 years old, and any user under 18 is not an authorized user. We will never knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of 13. If we obtain actual knowledge that it has collected personal information about a child under the age of 13, that information will be immediately deleted from our database.
