Description

Brand new renovation of interior designer harbor-front home with dock. This very special property features amazing light and views of Dering Harbor. Sun all day on the waterfront, on the private deck overlooking the harbor. 

The property also boasts private tennis courts, golf, and sailing. The large deck outside is drenched in sun and overlooks the water and Shelter Island Yacht Club. There are areas for dining and lounging outside.

Inside you will find a Master bedroom with king bed, ample closets and bureaus, and a soaking tub for two along with a separate shower and double sinks. The room has a vaulted ceiling, all wood clad, with re-purposed barn beams and enjoys a view of the water. The first guest room also boasts a king bed, vaulted ceiling, and features a big picture window with a lovely view over the water towards Greenport. The bath has an extra large bathtub with rainhead shower and there is ample closet space. The second guest room has a queen bed, and features a very special tempered glass cut out in the floor to see the water below (bedroom sits over the water). The bath has a rainhead marble shower.

Retreat to the living room to spend time in front of the fireplace and relax in the deep recessed couch or hide away in the library area with antique nautical windows that look out over the water. The living space also features a standup piano, large flat-screen TV with Apple TV and Sonos sound system (sonos is also setup throughout the house and outside).

In the kitchen you will find a Viking range great for cooking, dishwasher, Subzero Fridge, counter with stools for casual eating, dining table that seats eight, wood burning stove, and separate sitting area for hanging out (everyone loves to hang in the kitchen).

The house also features WiFi, standup paddle boards, bikes and a kayak. This is a water lover's playground!

Just a short walk to Shelter Island Heights, a quaint town, with shops and restaurants. North Ferry to Greenport is a mere 3 minute walk.

Suitability: Primary renter must be at least 30 years old.

Utility Disclaimer:
Utility fees are included in the total rental amount. The guest shall be responsible for the costs associated with excessive usage of utilities during the term of the reservation. Excessive usage is defined as utility costs over $45.00 per night of the reservation.

Cleaning Disclaimer: All reservations longer than one week must be professionally cleaned once per week, the cost of which is borne by the guest. For clarity purposes, the cost of in-stay cleanings are separate and above the fees collected at the time of booking.

Off-Season Disclaimer: It is typical that spring cleanings and updates do not take place until late April / early May. If your booking falls outside of Memorial Day to Labor Day, please inquire as to whether or not outdoor furniture and equipment will be available for use prior to booking.

Payment/Refund Policy: All payments are non-refundable, however, should the guest elect to cancel its reservation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner of the property to reopen the dates of the reservation in attempt to re-book the property (please note the decision to reopen dates is the owners’). Should Marquis be successful in re-booking the property for the original dates at the same or higher price than the original reservation, a refund will be issued to the guest once payment is collected in full for the new reservation. If a new reservation is not made, the guest may use the property for the dates of its original reservation so long as payments have been made in accordance with the payment schedule established at the time of booking and Marquis is notified in writing 72 hours or more prior to the start of the reservation.

Security Deposit Disclaimer: Although rare, accidental damage does happen during a stay. In lieu of a security deposit, guests can rest easy knowing that this property is covered with up to $20,000 of "all risk" damage protection provided by Waivo. Coverage details are provided in the booking agreement.
