If renter must cancel the reservation, Marquis will re-list availability, and in the event Marquis is able to re-book the nights renter originally booked, a refund may be processed. We strongly encourage renter to purchase travelers insurance (which Marquis offers) as a means of payment protection. Please note that all bookings must be paid in full prior to arrival.

    The house was clean, airy and quite comfortable. The central air conditioning seemed to be put on a timer and it got warm during the night. I did not like the covers on the sofas but I understand the need for them. Overall, we had a memorable experience and the house on the lake (with canoes) and its proximity to the beach contributed to that. However, considering the expectations of a rental in this area, the owner needs to invest in small upgrades that would make a big difference i.e. kitchen utensils, appliances, towels, bedding etc.
