Description
Stand on the sun-warmed tiles surrounding the heated backyard pool, the smell of steaks wafting from the stainless-steel grill on the back porch while the kids splash through yet another game of Marco Polo. Perhaps you dip a toe in or maybe you cradle a glass of ice-cold lemonade while you settle back in a lounge chair. What’s the rush?
Tucked on a lush plot of land nestled beneath dappled tree shade, the five-bedroom/three-bath Spring Pond Hideaway is relaxation gift wrapped as a vacation rental ready to greet up to nine guests. With high ceilings and a sprawling, open floor plan bathed in natural lighting, there’s plenty of space to find a corner to call your own. Whether nestled in the hybrid library/living room with a good book, making full use of the thoroughly outfitted kitchen (complete with an eight-burner stove, two dishwashers, stemware, and all necessary pots and pans), or gathered around the generous dining room table, this Southampton home has it all.
At night, draw the blinds and fall into a deep sleep in one five cozy bedrooms — two each with a king-sized bed, one with a queen, one with a double, and one with a twin. (Though a fifth single room, located in the basement, is available upon request, it isn’t ideal for children.) All home amenities—from the fireplace and air conditioning to high-speed internet—are yours to use for the duration of your stay.
Housed in a private community, you’re invited to grab a racket and head for one of two clay tennis courts. And for a water-filled day beyond the backyard, grab the beach towels and head for Shinnecock Bay, just a few miles down the road.

Without question our favorite Hamptons rental so far. This home is beautiful, meticulous and wonderfully quiet and private. The owners are gracious, thoughtful and extremely responsive. The 1st floor layout is perfect. Although separate spaces, the living room flows into the dining room and then into the open kitchen. We felt \"together\" even when in different rooms. The kitchen is the best stocked, most organized kitchen EVER (not just by rental standards). It has everything you need and more. Lots more. The beautiful dinning room table seats 10 comfortably. There are plenty of wine and champagne glasses and a roomy wine refrigerator (a great surprise if you bring your own wine). The living room with its comfortable leather sofas and a leather chair (everyone\'s favorite), french doors looking out onto the backyard and endlessly tall bookshelves and travel artifacts make this a relaxing but elegant room. A large downstairs bedroom functioned as a Master during our stay, the professionally designed closet was a real bonus. The 2nd downstairs bedroom was perfect for my husband\'s parents (95 and 93) because of its unobstructed floor space and easy-to-step-in shower. The 2nd floor master is spacious and beautifully decorated and the professionally installed closet helped make a two-week stay feel very organized. The smaller (and it\'s far from small) bedroom is roomy and comfortable. The deck umbrella table seated us comfortably for outside dining and hanging lights added a charming background glow. Enjoy grilling? You\'ll love this grill, sophisticated but easy to use. The pool is sparkling and there are plenty of padded lounge chairs and umbrellas. The landscaping is lush and beautifully maintained. This house has too many extras to list but include: Apple TV with Hulu and strong Wi-Fi (important in the Hamptons), thoughtfully well-stocked bathrooms, an outdoor herb garden and tomato plant, tons of fluffy beach towels and plenty of beach chairs (the good kind). We had and absolutely delightful two-week stay!

This house is wonderful and was the perfect location for a quiet summer getaway. The backyard has an beautiful pool and deck and we had a hard time leaving every afternoon when the sun went down. The house itself is very comfortable and our entire group felt at home. I would definitely go back and stay again!
