This historic Bed & Breakfast with five guest rooms, a 20x40 pool, and ample living room spaces is the perfect vacation destination for those seeking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located in the heart of Southampton while also being biking (or walking!) distance to the beach, this 1-acre property is nothing short of a quintessential Hamptons dream getaway. The gourmet kitchen features marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, floating wooden shelves, and an island with five high-top chairs. Any level of chef is encouraged to utilize all this space has to offer. You may dine casually around the island, or at any one of the other three wonderful dining areas. As for your indoor options, feel free to dine in the back of the home around a large farmhouse table in the sunroom, or at the more formal dining table located in an enclosed room. Set for up to 12 people, this table can serve as a space for formal occasions, or as a lovely work-from-home area for those needing to buckle down and get some work done. If, however, you prefer to relish in the warm Summer breeze, take the meal in the backyard under the bistro string lighting as the sun begins to paint the sky. For those seeking to have the ultimate Summer BBQ, rest assured a grill and a vast back lawn for any and all games are readily available. During the day, lay out on one of the ten lounge chairs lined along the pool, or camp out on one of the couches or daybeds. If, however, you fancy venturing to a nearby beach, or downtown for a day of shopping and dining in local restaurants, there are beach cruisers to ride all around town. In addition to there being several dining spaces, there are also ample living rooms to kick back and relax — all of which contain variations of deep-seated sofas, and chairs.

The Gibson Suite is a splendid space to drift off to sleep
after a fun-filled day and wake up feeling refreshed. The 140-square-foot
bedroom features a private hallway bathroom with a walk-in shower conveniently located right across the
hall. You will also have direct access to a charming, private sitting room containing a
full-size daybed. Have pleasant dreams as you sleep on the luxurious King-sized
bed equipped with top-of-the-line linens. Gibson also includes air conditioning so you can sleep comfortably during
any season. Wake feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on whatever the following day’s plans entail.
No matter how you choose to spend your days, The Mainstay B&B will surely provide you with the privacy, space, and amenities to undoubtedly have a marvelous, relaxing vacation.
*Daily housekeeping service is available upon request (24 hour noticed appreciated). Daily housekeeping includes restocking bathroom amenities, making of the bed, tidying the bedroom and replenishing towels. Housekeeping is available between 10am and 4pm.
*Breakfast is available upon request and would include an assortment of local pastries, juices, fruit, and coffee served from 7am to 10am.
*Use of the common areas/amenities is on a first come, first serve basis. Decency and respect for other guests is a requirement to stay at The Mainstay B&B.
*The pool is open until 10pm. There is no lifeguard on duty so be careful and swim at your own risk. Please limit use of the lounge chairs to 2 per suite.
*Please clean up after yourself after use of the kitchen and/or BBQ, leaving both amenities in the same condition you found them.
*Sonos system is controlled through an iPad beneath the TV in the kitchen. Be conscious of the volume so you do not disturb other guests or neighbors.
*1 parking space per bedroom. If guests are visiting the property, they should park behind your vehicle.
*All entry points to the B&B automatically lock at 12am and open at 5am.
*Safes and mini fridges are available in your bedroom.
*Please note that security cameras are located in the common areas of the property to ensure guest safety and security.
*3rd floor bedrooms are only available for manager use, who will be on site during your stay.

Pool Disclaimer: Due to the climate of the northeastern U.S., outdoor pools will typically only be available for use from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If your booking falls outside of that time frame and you intend to use the pool, please be sure to inquire if it will be available for use prior to booking.
Off-Season Disclaimer: It is typical that outdoor furniture and amenities are stored away during the off-season. If your booking falls between November and April, please inquire as to whether or not outdoor furniture and equipment will be available for use prior to booking.
Payment/Refund Policy: All payments are non-refundable, however, should the guest elect to cancel its reservation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner of the property to reopen the dates of the reservation in attempt to re-book the property (please note the decision to reopen dates is the owners’). Should Marquis be successful in re-booking the property for the original dates at the same or higher price than the original reservation, a refund will be issued to the guest once payment is collected in full for the new reservation. If a new reservation is not made, the guest may use the property for the dates of its original reservation so long as payments have been made in accordance with the payment schedule established at the time of booking and Marquis is notified in writing 72 hours or more prior to the start of the reservation.
